Processing in the context of legal services
Who processes your data

Data Protection Officer
No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the nature and scope of our activities does not require one under the GDPR.
Why we process your data
Personal data is processed on the basis of the conclusion and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of statutory obligations under regulations governing the practice of law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
What data we process
- Contact and identification data (including birth number)
- Data for legal representation in a specific matter
- Information from opposing parties or third parties during proceedings
- Data from public registers
Providing personal data is a necessary prerequisite for concluding and performing a contract for the provision of legal services. Without the required data, legal services cannot be provided.
How we use the data
Data is used solely for the purposes of legal representation, in particular to fulfil all statutory obligations.
To whom data may be disclosed
In connection with legal representation, personal data may be disclosed in particular to:
- courts and other public authorities in the course of proceedings,
- the opposing party, experts or interpreters, where required by the nature of the matter,
- providers of support services (e.g. accounting, IT and hosting services) acting as processors under data processing agreements.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries.

Some rights may be excluded due to the nature of processing on the basis of a legal obligation.

Further information
Data is archived for the duration of legal representation and subsequently in accordance with legal regulations, generally 10 years. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
We use external service providers (e.g. website hosting, email services, accounting) who process personal data exclusively on our instructions and only to the extent necessary for the provision of the relevant service.
Processing in the context of insolvency proceedings

Why we process your data
Processing arises from the fulfilment of a legal obligation in the exercise of the role of insolvency administrator (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Consent is not required.
What data we process
- Contact and identification data (including birth number)
- Data on property, employment and family circumstances
- Data from public registers (Land Registry, Commercial Register, vehicle register)
- Data obtained through statutory cooperation from banks and financial institutions
Providing data is a statutory requirement. Failure to provide data may result in sanctions from the insolvency court.
How we use the data
Data is used solely for the purposes of insolvency proceedings. Personal data is transferred to the insolvency court, not to third countries.
Your rights
You have the same rights as stated above, with the exception of those excluded due to the nature of processing on the basis of a legal obligation.
